Its user-friendly interface is intended to make setting up and receiving these fictional calls straightforward for casual use with friends and family.

What kinds of calls can the app simulate?

The app includes a call simulator for a phone call from The Elf on the Shelf. It also offers a prank video call that presents a fake video call from the character, allowing users to choose a more visual form of the joke.

The source describes the experience as a live chat with the Elf and as a fictional activity for entertainment. These calls are simulated rather than genuine conversations with the character.

Can you schedule a fake call?

Yes. Calling The Elf from the Shelf lets users schedule fake calls for times intended to surprise friends or family. Scheduling can help set up a planned prank instead of starting the simulated call immediately.

How could someone use it with other people?

A user can pretend to receive a video call from The Elf on the Shelf when friends or family are present, then show them how the app works. The source presents this as a way to share the fun and create a playful interaction around the fictional character.

Is the app intended as a real calling service?

No. The app is explicitly described as fictional and for entertainment purposes only. Its friendly design and easy-to-use interface support the setup of simulated calls, but the calls should be understood as pretend experiences rather than real communications.

This app may suit people looking for a simple Elf on the Shelf-themed prank involving a scheduled phone call or a fake video call. It is particularly aimed at sharing a lighthearted surprise with friends and family, rather than providing ordinary calling or messaging features.
