Beast Quest

Overview

Beast Quest takes you across Avantia on a quest to free powerful Beasts from the mage Malvel’s enchantment. Based on Adam Blade’s novels, this third-person adventure combines a fantasy story with freely explorable environments and real-time fights. You can travel from frozen mountains to sunny shores, follow objectives, search for useful items, and prepare for encounters with much larger foes. Progress comes from completing quests, defeating enemies, and improving your abilities and equipment. Battles use touchscreen gestures rather than a virtual joystick or conventional attack buttons, making the timing of each strike, block, and dodge an important part of play.

What You Can Do

⭐ Explore Avantia’s varied areas and discover routes beyond the main path. Quests give you objectives to follow, while caves and optional paths offer reasons to look around before moving on to a harder region.

⭐ Fight in real time with taps and swipes. You can attack, raise your shield, dodge, and use additional inputs for special moves. Linking actions into combos helps you maintain pressure, particularly when several enemies are involved.

⭐ Face major encounters with Beasts including Ferno, Sepron, Arcta, Nanook, Tagus, and Epos. These fights call for attention to attack patterns: learning when to defend and when to counter is part of freeing each Beast and advancing the story.

⭐ Develop your character by completing quests and defeating enemies. Ability improvements and equipment changes can strengthen your damage and defense, giving you more options as the fights become tougher.

⭐ Search for lost treasures, artifacts, herbs, and other useful finds while exploring. Secrets and in-game achievements provide goals beyond the next quest objective, and items found off the main route can help you prepare for combat.

⭐ Follow a story connected to the Beast Quest books. Tom, Elenna, and Malvel appear alongside the Beast roster, giving familiar characters and locations a role in the journey through Avantia.

Using the App

Exploration and combat feed into each other. Moving freely through an area lets you pursue a quest or investigate a side path; the enemies and items you encounter contribute to your progress. In battle, repeated swiping alone is not enough. You need to judge an opponent’s timing, protect your health with blocks or dodges, then commit to an attack sequence when there is an opening. Upgraded gear and abilities become especially relevant in longer fights against the towering Beasts.
