Status Capture apk

Status Capture apk is an Android app for saving photos and videos from WhatsApp statuses to your device. It suits situations where you have already seen a status in WhatsApp and want to keep it so you can view it again later from your own device. The listing describes it as a status downloader that also includes a built-in viewer and media player for saved items.

Saving a status you want to keep

The listing outlines a short sequence. First, open WhatsApp and open the status you want to download. Then return to Status Capture apk, where the images or videos from that status are shown. Click the item you want, and use the download option to save it to your gallery. The same step also lets you share the item so you can repost it to other apps.

Keeping several statuses in one session

The description says the app can download and save up to 50 statuses at a time, including both photo and video statuses. This is relevant when you want to collect a group of updates together instead of saving each one on its own. The listing also mentions a multiple-status option and describes the interface as designed for managing saved stories.

Browsing saved photos and videos

Saved items can be reviewed inside the app. The listing mentions an inbuilt story viewer and media player, along with an image viewer for photos. It states that video statuses and image statuses are shown separately, and that video playback is built in. The description also says saved statuses can be viewed offline. Because this claim comes from the listing text, it should be checked on the store page or in the app itself.

Choosing whose statuses to save

The description says you can save statuses from all of your contacts or from one specific contact. It also says you can save statuses for a specific period of time or keep them indefinitely. Another listed capability is viewing and saving a contact's status story without going to that contact's viewers list. The listing does not explain how these choices are set on screen, so review the app's settings before relying on a particular option.

Permission and copyright notes

The listing includes two cautions. It advises getting a friend's permission before saving their WhatsApp story. It also says that if content in the app violates copyright, people should contact the developer so that the content can be removed. These notes come from the app's own text and do not describe how every case would be handled.

Details the listing leaves open

The description calls the app free and says there are no hidden costs, with no payment needed to use it. It does not state a supported Android version, and it does not give details about in-app purchases or advertising, so those points are best checked on the store page. The text also repeats several promotional phrases, which means it works best as a summary of listed features rather than as independent verification. The app is listed in the Social category.
