Handling Complex Splits and Currencies

For groups involving families, couples, or uneven contributions, Settle Up handles complex split scenarios including weighted dispersion and multiple payers. The platform supports multiple currencies with live exchange rates for international use. Participants can also attach images of receipts directly to payments for clear documentation.

Debt Settlement and Data Export

To resolve balances efficiently, the app calculates the minimal number of transactions required to settle debts within a group and allows users to repay debts via PayPal without fees. A complete payments log keeps history visible. For data management and sharing, the platform supports email export, import and export to SD cards, CSV formats, and an open API for developers, alongside being translated into 20 languages.

Group Access and Transparency Controls

Group members can participate without needing to download the app themselves. Other users can be granted read-only access to maintain transparency while preserving overall control of the financial records.
