Nexpart

Nexpart is an Android app for searching automotive parts, checking current stock and pricing, and placing live orders with Nexpart-enabled parts suppliers. It supports supplier access through secure logins and lets users switch between different sellers from the mobile app.

Search parts by number or vehicle

The main lookup function supports several ways to identify a part. Users can enter a part number to check whether it is in stock, or search through vehicle details such as year, make, model, and engine. The app also supports scanning a vehicle identification number (VIN) with the mobile device. This provides another route into the parts catalog when the vehicle information is available from its VIN.

Catalog lookup combines these search methods with access to parts information for the selected supplier. Search results can show the listed price, availability, and stock status described by the app. Users can begin a lookup from the mobile device and review parts information before entering a store.

Supplier access and device continuity

Nexpart allows users to connect to any Nexpart-enabled parts supplier using their login details. The app also supports toggling between different sellers, which is useful when parts information needs to be checked across available supplier accounts.

The service connects mobile activity with the desktop site. Catalog work can begin on the phone, while the app and PC experience can both be used as part of the same parts-procurement workflow. Orders placed through the app are synchronized with the desktop site and appear in the PC Order History.

Live ordering and order history

After finding a required part, users can place a live order directly from the app. Orders can be directed to multiple locations within the same seller. The desktop Order History provides access to previous orders, supporting review of earlier purchases and reordering parts from that record.
