About this app
Mobile Hotspot Manager is an Android app for managing your mobile hotspot settings in one place. It covers turning the hotspot on and off, editing its tethering name and password, setting automatic shutoff rules, and reviewing how much data has been used.
Hotspot switching and tethering credentials
A quick switch lets you turn the mobile hotspot on or off. The app also lets you change the name and password of the hotspot directly within the app, without having to dig through system settings.
Automatic shutoff timers and data limits
You can set a time after which the hotspot turns off automatically, based on how long it has been in use. You can also set a data limit for the hotspot, and it will turn off automatically when that limit is reached. The developer describes the timer as a way to prevent excessive data usage.
Usage statistics and connected devices
The app provides statistics and a history of data usage, including how long the hotspot has been in use. It also lets you monitor the devices connected to your hotspot and see how much data each one uses.
