IH Sports App

IH Sports App is a sports app for fans in South Africa that brings event updates, live scores, streams and statistics together in one place. The developer, Its Happening Africa, describes it as a central hub where unions, clubs, schools and academies can organize and update their communities.

Following events from one platform

According to the listing, the app gathers updates, scores and live streams from various events on a single platform, so users do not need to search several sources for the same information. Users can follow multiple events at the same time and customize their feed to show updates from the events they are interested in.

Live scores and player and team statistics

Live scores are presented as a real-time feature for events such as cricket matches, soccer games and basketball tournaments. The app also provides detailed player and team statistics. The description says these can be used to analyze performance, compare stats and review players' strengths and weaknesses.

Community interaction for hosts

Hosts, including unions, clubs, schools and academies, can use interaction features to engage with their followers. The listing says these tools are meant to build a sense of belonging and loyalty, but it does not specify which individual interaction functions are included.

Platform availability and live streams

The app is listed as available for both Android and iOS, and it is downloaded from the app store for each device. Live streaming depends on the host. The app aims to offer streams for events, but some hosts may choose not to provide them, in which case only live scores and statistics are available for that event.
