About this app
Hackensack Golf Club App is a mobile companion for members of the Hackensack Golf Club. The source lists developer Mobile Media Partners, version 5.0.1 and the Lifestyle category. It brings together three member-focused tools: GPS distance information on the course, dining reservations, and payment of HGC bills.
GPS distances on the course
The app's GPS feature is described as giving golfers distances to hazards, greens and pins on the course. The source presents these figures as a way for players to make informed decisions during a round. It does not explain how the distances are calculated or how precise they are on each hole.
Dining reservations and bill payments
Members can book a table at Hackensack Golf Club from their phones, whether for a casual meal or a special occasion. The app also allows members to pay their HGC bill within a few clicks, which reduces the need to wait in line or remember payment due dates.
Background GPS and battery use
The app warns that continued use of GPS running in the background can significantly drain battery life. Members who rely on GPS during a round may want to keep this in mind and adjust their phone settings accordingly.
Layout and navigation
The interface is described as clean and intuitive, with straightforward navigation to the features and information members need. The source presents it as suitable for golfers of all skill levels.
