About this app
DPD Saturn helps drivers manage DPD parcel collections and deliveries using their own devices. It brings together information about upcoming work and tools for planning routes, tracking parcels and handling payments for completed services.
Keeping up with collections and deliveries
The app is intended for drivers providing collection and delivery services for DPD. Notifications alert them to upcoming collections and deliveries, giving them another way to keep track of their daily schedule. Its interface is described as simple to navigate, so drivers can move between the information they need while carrying out their work.
Planning routes and tracking parcels
Route planning helps drivers choose a path between their collection and delivery destinations. The app also provides real-time parcel tracking, allowing drivers to check parcel progress as they work. Together, these functions address two related parts of a delivery day: deciding where to go and keeping sight of the parcels being handled.
Payments and driver information
DPD Saturn includes a payment system through which drivers can receive payment for their services. The app description also identifies the protection of driver information and transaction data as a priority, though it does not specify particular safeguards. These features sit alongside the scheduling and delivery tools rather than requiring drivers to use a separate device for the app.
