Compass Sensor

Compass Sensor supports outdoor navigation when you need to identify direction, review an azimuth, or monitor movement during an activity. The app combines compass tools with step counting, distance tracking, offline operation, and Qibla direction support.

Finding direction outdoors

When an outdoor activity requires a clear sense of orientation, Compass Sensor provides compass readings, azimuth calculations, and direction indicators. These tools are designed to help identify the direction you are facing and stay oriented while moving through different surroundings.

Adjusting the compass for different locations

The app includes calibration options for fine-tuning the compass in different geolocations. This gives users a way to adjust the compass for the location and terrain where they are using it, rather than relying only on the initial reading.

Tracking steps and covered distance

For walks, hikes, and other physical activities, the step counter records steps as an activity measure. The distance tracker, described as an odometer, monitors how far you have traveled and provides progress information about the journey.

Using direction tools without an internet connection

Compass Sensor supports offline use, which is intended for remote areas where an internet connection may not be available or GPS coverage may be limited. Its offline Qibla compass can also help determine the Qibla direction during travel or outdoor activities.
