Christmas Ringtones

Christmas Ringtones is an Android app from App Resonance, listed in the Media & Video category, that replaces standard call sounds with holiday tunes. According to its description, the collection covers traditional carols, Santa-themed melodies, and New Year music, and it includes a built-in media player with on-screen lyrics. The listing references version 1.1.

What kinds of ringtones are included?

The description says the app offers a range of options such as old phone classical ringtones, a happy new year ringtone for 2020, Santa Claus melodies, and Xmas tunes. Examples named in the listing include Jingle Bells and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. The description also mentions categories that range from old phone style tones to modern jingles, so users can browse different styles before choosing one.

How do the media player and lyrics feature work?

The listing describes a built-in media player for playing the Christmas ringtones, with the ability to switch between songs. A dynamic lyrics feature is also described: as a tune plays, its lyrics appear on screen, which the developer presents as a way to follow along and join in with the music. The listing does not explain how the lyrics are sourced or which tracks include them.

Can I assign ringtones to contacts or alarms?

The description suggests setting a favorite tune as an alarm clock sound or assigning different ringtones to specific contacts. It also notes that a chosen song can be set as the phone's ringtone. The listing does not describe the exact menu steps, so users should check the app interface to see how these assignments are made.

Does the app need an internet connection?

The developer's description states that the app works offline and does not need an internet connection. The same text describes the app as free to use. Because this information comes from the listing itself, it is worth checking the current terms on the store page before installing, especially if you want to know about in-app purchases or other paid options.

Who might use it during the holidays?

The description presents the app as a way to share the season with family and friends. It suggests that listeners gather around to hear the tunes together, or set a relative's favorite Christmas song as their ringtone. The listing frames these uses as festive and personal rather than as specific technical features.
