CA VPN

CA VPN is a VPN app for accessing restricted sites and apps, browsing anonymously, and adding privacy when using public WiFi. Its documented purpose is to route a user's connection through a VPN proxy, with controls focused on simple activation, server location changes, and maintaining the connection across network changes.

VPN access for restricted sites and apps

The app is designed to help users reach websites and applications that may be blocked in their region. CA VPN provides access to VPN servers located in different parts of the world, allowing users to change their apparent location while browsing the global network. The source describes this server coverage as worldwide and associates it with anonymous and private browsing.

Anonymous browsing and public WiFi use

CA VPN is also presented as a tool for browsing anonymously and protecting user privacy on public WiFi networks. The VPN service is described as secure and anonymous, with the connection intended to conceal the user's identity while online. These features are relevant when a user wants to use a public wireless network while keeping the VPN proxy active.

Simple activation and connection continuity

The app uses a one-button activation approach for enabling its VPN proxy. This keeps the main control focused on starting the service without describing a complicated setup process. CA VPN also includes automatic reconnection when the device switches between mobile data and WiFi. This documented behavior is intended to maintain the VPN connection during that network transition rather than requiring the user to reconnect manually.

Service description

The source describes the VPN service as unlimited, superfast, and without data caps. These are product descriptions supplied for the app and are included here without independent performance testing. The listed version is 1.0.5.
