About this app
BAPS Pooja Calendar is an Android app for tracking Swaminarayan Hindu festivals and observances and consulting auspicious timings. It combines a monthly calendar with personal notes and dedicated views for different types of religious dates.
Monthly observances and personal notes
The monthly calendar highlights observances including Ekadashi, Poonam, and Amas. This layout lets you review these dates within the month rather than consulting only a separate list of occasions.
You can add personal notes to individual days and share those notes with friends and family. This provides a way to keep your own information alongside the calendar’s religious dates and pass along details relevant to others.
Muhurat and dedicated date views
The Muhurat view presents auspicious timings based on Hindu jyotish scriptures for activities such as buying, selling, and marriage. It serves a different purpose from the monthly overview by focusing on timings for significant activities.
Separate views cover festivals, auspicious days, and solar and lunar eclipse days, allowing you to consult the category of dates you need.
