AndFTP

AndFTP provides a practical way to manage FTP, FTPS, SCP, and SFTP connections when you need to browse device files alongside files stored on remote servers. It supports multiple connection configurations and combines transfer, synchronization, sharing, and remote file management tools in one Android application.

When you need to work with more than one server

Multiple FTP configurations let you keep connection details for several FTP servers in the app. This is useful when your file work involves different remote locations, since each configured connection can be managed from the same interface rather than treated as a separate application setup.

When you need to locate files on the device or server

AndFTP includes both a device file browser and an FTP file browser. You can navigate local files and remote server content, then use the relevant location for transfers or other file actions. The two browsing areas support tasks that require moving between Android storage and a connected server.

When transferring or synchronizing files

The app supports downloading, uploading, and synchronizing files between the device and remote locations. Resume support allows an interrupted download or upload to continue rather than requiring the transfer to start again. Files can also be shared through the app, including sharing directly from the device gallery.

When remote file actions are part of the task

Beyond transferring files, AndFTP supports opening and renaming them, deleting items, updating permissions, and running custom commands. These controls are intended for situations where managing the contents or properties of remote files matters as much as copying them.

When a connection uses SSH keys or another application

SSH RSA and DSA key support is available for supported connections. AndFTP also provides intents for third-party applications, allowing other apps to integrate with its file and connection workflows. Together, these options extend the app beyond basic browsing and transfers without requiring every task to be handled inside one screen.
